My Summary
Herly Pena
Presentations were a pretty good star, since our first day we had to work in groups. Even Though, they were our first work in group of the semester and we were a lit bit nervous, everyone did a great job. 💥
☝ Group one’s did Chapter three. The presentation was about Intercultural Communication. Group one explained and clarified different topics about cultures, race, age or generation, communication. During this group presentation, I found one of the subtopics of this chapter called Masculinity and Femininity very interesting. It is impossible that still in the 21st century many societies differ on the importance of traditional gender role distinctions. They showed us some interesting videos and images in relation with how men and women are expected to adhere to traditional gender roles and behaviors. Also, these guys encouraged us to continue raising our voices to stop this discrimination in the world. We live in societies free from discrimination, where women and men have the same rights. Group one did an amazing presenting this chapter. They showed knowledge from the topic and were very organized.

👉People do not need to be physically present to communicate.
👉Group members can interact while in different cities states and countries.
👉Asynchronous virtual groups members can post and respond to messengers at any time as opposed to real time.
💪Although we were nervous, we did a good job💪

💢In general, all presentation were amazing everyone did the job and the professor was very pound of us. 💣
